El Cabildo y la EOI pone en marcha un espacio de trabajo colaborativo “Coworking” para emprendedores innovadores

«El objetivo del coworking es fomentar el emprendimiento y la innovación en la Isla, para ello se realizará un Proyecto Formación Grupal e Individual en el marco de un Espacio de Trabajo Colaborativo (Coworking)»

El Servicio de Innovación perteneciente al Área de Nuevas tecnologías del Cabildo de La Palma que dirige el consejero Jorge Gonzalez, en colaboración con la Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI), pondrán en marcha un nuevo espacios de coworking en Santa Cruz de La Palma, esta actuación se basa en un Convenio de colaboración recientemente firmado por ambas corporaciones. El Coworking establece la creación de un espacio conjunto destinado al establecimiento de emprendedores previamente seleccionados. Se pretende fomentar el emprendimiento y la innovación, a la par de aumentar la probabilidad de éxito de los proyectos innovadores en un período limitado de tiempo, identificando aquellos con mayor potencial de desarrollo. Para ello se intentará aumentar las competencias emprendedoras e incrementar el número de empresas e iniciativas de trabajo por cuenta propia sostenibles creadas, promover el trabajo por cuenta propia, el espíritu emprendedor y la creación de empresas, incluidas las microempresas y las pequeñas y medianas empresas innovadoras, y en el proceso fomentar el emprendimiento y aumentar la probabilidad de éxito de los proyectos emprendedores en fase temprana de desarrollo durante un período limitado de tiempo.

La primera edición, que se abrirá próximamente, tendrá una duración de 5 meses, y dará cabida a un mínimo de 16 y un máximo de 22 proyectos innovadores. Los seleccionados contarán con un espacio de trabajo de altas prestaciones, recibirán una formación de 60 horas sobre emprendimiento y gestión de proyectos, así como una tutorización-mentoring personalizado por proyecto.

A lo largo de las ediciones del proyecto Coworking se desarrollarán diferentes eventos con el objetivo de favorecer el networking entre los emprendedores y demás agentes del ecosistema emprendedor. En la edición se realizará un Demoday en las semanas finales en el que se presentarán los proyectos y el alcance de los mismos tras el proceso realizado

La EOI es una fundación del sector público estatal dedicada a formar profesionales, producir y difundir conocimiento y ofrecer servicios de valor a empresas, emprendedores y administraciones, en los valores de una economía abierta, social, verde y digital.

Proyecto Antares

El Proyecto Antares es el distintivo de Innovación, Tecnología y Sociedad de la Información del Cabildo Insular de La Palma.

Constituye  una apuesta por diversificar la economía de la Isla, creando un ecosistema de emprendimiento e innovación en el que pueda desarrollarse un tejido empresarial intensivo en conocimiento y tecnología. Una oportunidad para acercarse a nuevos productos, servicios y mercados, a la vez que para ser más competitivos e innovadores en un contexto de economía global. Una apuesta por generar un entorno favorable para la creación y consolidación de nuevas empresas y para el desarrollo de nuevas carreras profesionales en torno a la I+D+i y el uso intensivo de tecnología; para la ciudadanía y las Administraciones Publicas la oportunidad para crear un nuevo espacio de servicios públicos más amplio, de mayor calidad, más eficiente y más cercano.

El Proyecto Antares pretende dotar a la isla de La Palma de espacios, equipamientos, comunicaciones, servicios y entornos favorables que se sumarán a las condiciones ya existentes. El marco de partida es el de un territorio con una alta concentración de centros de investigación, dotado de un marco fiscal enormemente favorable, un capital humano capacitado y diverso, integrado tanto por los residentes como por aquellos que desean retornar, niveles de calidad de vida envidiables, y por último, la conexión vía cable submarino a las principales redes y nodos de comunicaciones, que junto a las TICs diluyen las barreras físicas del territorio. El proyecto pretende en este contexto servir de catalizador para la creación de un entorno de oportunidad dinámico y constante,  un espacio de gran potencial para la creación de nuevos ámbitos de desarrollo personal, profesional, social y empresarial.

Proyecto Antares depende del Servicio de Innovación, Proyectos y Sociedad de la Información del Cabildo Insular de La Palma. Nació de la mano de la “Sociedad Promotora del Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Isla de La Palma SL”, ente instrumental del Cabildo  creado para materializar el proyecto en 2011, y disuelta en 2016.

Los objetivos estratégicos del Proyecto Antares son:
